Consumer energy markets a “minefield”

The Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) recently reported that the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) identified “billing issues” as a major cause of customer complaints.

The SMH article went on to report┬áthat a spokesperson from the leading consumer advice group, Canstar Blue, described Australian consumer energy markets as a “minefield”.

The spokesperson was also reported to say that “If you don’t sign up for the plan that suits your habits you’ll lose out”.
